Chef Jeremy Senaris

Chef Jeremy Senaris is a Winnipeg-based chef and the founder of Lasahan, specializing in modern Asian cuisine with a strong focus on Filipino flavours, ingredients, and culinary traditions.

Jeremy’s culinary journey has taken him from the home kitchen to the national stage. He first captured Canada’s attention as the Season 3 runner-up on CTV’s MasterChef Canada, making it all the way to the three-course finale and finishing second in the competition. He later returned to compete on MasterChef Canada: Back to Win, further establishing himself as one of the show's memorable returning competitors.

His culinary journey has also been recognized beyond television. Jeremy was featured in The Globe and Mail's “Canada’s Kitchen 2020: Introducing the country’s next star chefs,” highlighting him among Canada's emerging culinary talent.

Jeremy has continued to challenge himself through culinary competitions, most recently earning 2nd place in the Culinary Federation of Canada Championship, showcasing his technical skill, creativity, and ability to perform at a high level in a competitive culinary environment.

At the heart of Jeremy’s cooking is his passion for modern Asian cuisine and Filipino food. He draws inspiration from the bold, diverse flavours of Filipino cooking while incorporating contemporary techniques, refined presentation, and influences from across Asia. His approach is about respecting the flavours and traditions that inspire him while finding new and creative ways to present them.

Through Lasahan, Jeremy brings this philosophy to private dinners, celebrations, corporate events, and catered experiences. His goal is to create food that is not only beautifully presented, but tells a story — combining Filipino heritage, modern Asian flavours, professional culinary technique, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
